In parenting, no one wants to talk to their kids about sex and drugs. It’s terrifying. It’s so bad, we simply call it having “the conversation.”

In business, there’s a similar conversation we are terrified to have: Diversity. Sure, pretty much every business happily says how much they value it, but they almost never talk about why, which is why we end up with situations like the Diversity Manifesto at Google.

In this episode, we don’t talk diversity so much as we talk about why we need to talk about talking about it.
